Taxi dispatches are stately supervised, and fares are quite cheap. Taxis as an alternative to the bus are especially recommendable for the impacient, for busses hardly ever leave according to schedule.

Taxi drivers know the island very well and may bring visitors even to remote places and beaches. If the taximetre is not running, the fare should always be negotiated in advance.

All towns of Mykonos and the most popular beaches can be reached by bus, but those leave irregularly and are often overcrowded. Fares are affordable, bus stops marked in blue.
